PACKING A CLAY KIT FOR WORK ON THE GO

My favourite tools because of how versatile they are.

1. This craft knife ✨most important tool✨

2. Silicone tipped tools with ball tips

3. Needle tools - 2 sizes

4. Maker’s mark stamp

5. Mini round cutters

6. Tissue blade

I’ll explain more in the caption of the video linked here.

MIXING LIQUID CLAY

While i’m already so in love with the current range of liquid clay colours by Sculpey, there are times where I need a specific shade - brick red for example. It’s a bunch of experiments and attempts at understanding colour theory (disclaimer im still figuring this out!) but right now i’m still mixing my liquid clay colours by sight and it’s still such a fun process.

Sure, you can experiment and add other mediums like paint/pigment to colourize your liquid clay, but ultimately, i find that the original liquid clay as it is, still produces the best results. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

MIXING THE PERFECT OLIVE

It’s always fun mixing up custom shades for each project! You can watch our short reel on how we did this, as well as the ratios used to create the two subtly different shades of olives here.

I’m using all Sculpey Soufflé clay here:
💙Midnight Blue
💛Canary
🤎Cowboy

I really love the olive colour I get from : (bottom swatch)
1 part Midnight Blue
1 part Canary
1 part Cowboy
